Data shows that the Geely Galaxy brand continues to perform brilliantly. After ranking 10th in terminal sales in 2023, it has achieved rapid growth. In the first half of 2025, it rose to the second place with 451.0k retail units, following closely behind BYD.

Geely Galaxy focuses mainly on sub-200k-yuan segments. In the sub-100k-yuan market, its H1 retail sales hit 287.8k units, up 371% YoY, while BYD’s fell 13% to 231.7k. In the 100k-200k-yuan range, despite a big gap with BYD, it grew 94% YoY.

The rapid growth of Geely Galaxy is inseparable from its clear internal goals. From the perspective of its internal product matrix, each of its models is positioned to compete with BYD’s models. While having advantages in space and configurations, their prices are also lower than those of BYD’s models. As Galaxy’s layout improves, it will exert certain pressure on BYD.

Comprehensive analysis indicates that Geely Galaxy’s total sales volume for 2025 will reach 1.15M-1.17M units, with an optimistic projection of 1.18M-1.22M units. It is set to become the second new energy vehicle brand in China to achieve annual sales exceeding one million units.
