Per Thinkercar data, major new car-making brands saw higher July purchase benefits. NIO’s per-car benefit reached 70k yuan, up 16.4% from the prior period; Huawei HIMA brands also increased. Brands like Xiaomi, Li Auto, and Xpeng, which performed well in H1, however, made no adjustments.

In July, NIO mainly adjusted the benefits for its 5566 models, adding a 5-year interest-free purchase plan or an 18,000-yuan cash subsidy, while reducing the flexible battery upgrade coupons and optional equipment funds compared with June.

In July, affected by the launch of Xiaomi YU7, the cash subsidies for Luxeed models under Huawei HIMA were substantially adjusted. The subsidy for AITO M7 was increased from 10k yuan in June to 20k yuan, and a 6k yuan regional subsidy is available. Meanwhile, the popular models AITO M9 and Stelato S9 also have a 2k yuan subsidy.

Zeekr offered a 5k yuan insurance subsidy for its best-selling models in July. Additionally, Zeekr 7X/001/007 are eligible for an 8k yuan regional subsidy.

In July, Onvo L60 upgraded the original 1 – year free battery – swapping benefit (with 48 battery – swapping coupons) to a 3 – year free battery – swapping benefit (with 144 battery – swapping coupons), and its car – purchase benefits have been increasing month by month.
